After several playthroughs, there is no doubt that Tomb Raider is a high quality game worth the attention of anyone who hasnt picked it up already. So many titles have been a harrowing experience for the players. Tomb Raider finally puts Lara Croft through a harrowing experience that players can enjoy. It remains loyal to its adventure-first roots while conforming to modern gameplay: all this done without cloning current adventure titles. It doesnt have the most original story, weaponry, or enemies. It reboots Lara Croft in ways Tomb Raider fans could have only dreamed.

Appstorm writes: I would say that this iteration of Tomb Raider serves as a worthy prequel to the whole franchise. It is well executed, Laras story builds up well, the island throws some brilliant challenges and all other components function like a German machine. Only a couple of problems, like poor narrative, inadequate character development for NPCs and a forgetful multiplayer (so forgetful that I did not mention it anywhere above), are holding it back from a perfect score.
